PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS

Karin Johnson of AcuSource Healing announced the winners of the Photo Contest at the Centennial Dinner Dance. Three of the winning photos:

TIME CAPSULE WINNERS

           WE HAVE OUR WINNERS!

         

The Rotary Club invited grammar school children in Cedar Grove to guess what was placed in the time capsule 50 years ago.  The three students with the most correct guesses were:

                      Second grade ---JOSEPH KULUE
                      Third grade ---- JOSEPH LOMBARDI
                      Fourth grade --- BAILEY FISHER

All the students attend North End Elementary School. The winners each received a $50 U.S. Savings Bond.

THIS WAS THE WEEK WE CELEBRATED 100 YEARS AS A TOWNSHIP!
               

                                             APRIL 9th, 1908

                   There was a Gala Centennial Dinner Dance (April 12th) and
                   the contents of the Time Capsule were revealed (April 5th).
                   The winners of the Time Capsule Contest and
                   the Photo Contest were announced at the Gala.
